me&myBoys

Life with boys. Married to one, raising one, and one that is brand new. Gotta love it.

I am 30 years old, married with children. If the 20's are for finding yourself, I think it's happened just in time. Up til now I've kind of felt like a poser. But, these boys . . . Ry, G, & O . . . they've helped me become who I'm supposed to be. Being part of their lives, helping them know they are precious and loved is what I am supposed to do. Everything else is extra to that primary goal.

absent

Ive been slow to blog lately. my mind is a whirlwind of to-do's and even though there are a million things to write about, i am having trouble focusing enough to sumup an experience into a quick read. plus, nap time is by far the best time to write, however, if i'm lucky enough to have both boys sleeping simultaneously . . . i try to partake in the nap as well. today, i'm writing while nursing (thus the lower case letters) but since i constantly stop to rescue a gasping owen from drowning in my beastly let-down (if you don't know what that means, consider yourself lucky) i may not get much accomplished.

i guess i will leave you with this one observation. packing is like pregnancy. . . you find yourself in transition and going through the motions. it sucks and the further along you get the more uncomfortable living conditions are. but, the silver lining is that all of the mixed feelings you have about the end result (delivery/move) become less of an issue for you because you are so sick of PACKING.

I agree - although this is a crazy time, you're also making great family memories. Soon you'll be looking back and saying, "Remember those crazy last few months in Nashville?" Enjoy little Owen when he's so tiny. It always goes by way too fast.
