me&myBoys

Life with boys. Married to one, raising one, and one that is brand new. Gotta love it.

I am 30 years old, married with children. If the 20's are for finding yourself, I think it's happened just in time. Up til now I've kind of felt like a poser. But, these boys . . . Ry, G, & O . . . they've helped me become who I'm supposed to be. Being part of their lives, helping them know they are precious and loved is what I am supposed to do. Everything else is extra to that primary goal.

not as fun for everyone

We are in the middle of packing. Actually, closer to the end. Thus this post is to let you all know that I may be unable to blog for awhile. Ryan and I have a list of things to accomplish by the end of each day, and tomorrow I must part with my computer. I don't know how I will handle it, it is almost like my morning coffee. I get up, check my email, make some toast, check the blogs, take a shower, check my email . . . etc, etc. I will still be able to use Ryan's laptop, but I doubt I'll be able to post as often.

The good news is that our packing is almost done. The bad news is that I'm getting even more emotional than before. Something about leaving a beautiful city, wonderful people, good neighborhood, the boys' first room . . . is just stirring up the tears.

• HIllsboro Village
• Drive thru Starbucks
• Green Hills Mall
• Downtown Franklin
• Brick Architecture
• Kenner Avenue
• Wide trim and crown molding
• An early spring and a late fall
• Monstrous manicured lawns
• Friendly, and Charismatic strangers
• Friendly and Charismatic friends
• All the new babies coming and arrived
• Meeting Ryan for lunch on a whim
• Incredible music performances happening almost daily
• The Kelm's, the West's, the Oxford's, the resident's . . .

So many things. Nasvhille, I will miss you.

Oh, Shannon. I know how you feel. I felt that way when we left our Texas house. I know a house is just a house. But when it's filled with SO many happy memories like you have described it can be heart-renching. All your Nashville memories made me miss Nashville too :-) You have an amazing future ahead of you that will be filled with so many blessings and new memories are just waiting to be made.
See you next week!

Shannon - as you walk through these next several weeks - hang on to the Lord's hand and know that He goes before you - He will be there as you say goodbye to this wonderful chapter in your lives, hello to somethig new, and know that He has wonderful things and times ahead. Just trust Him.
Love you aunt Nancy!
