me&myBoys

Life with boys. Married to one, raising one, and one that is brand new. Gotta love it.

I am 30 years old, married with children. If the 20's are for finding yourself, I think it's happened just in time. Up til now I've kind of felt like a poser. But, these boys . . . Ry, G, & O . . . they've helped me become who I'm supposed to be. Being part of their lives, helping them know they are precious and loved is what I am supposed to do. Everything else is extra to that primary goal.

growing . . . and growing . . . and

Here are some long awaited pictures of Owen. He is such a big boy. So different than Graham. I can't wait to hear what his percentages are like compared to his older brother. We have a doctor's appointment next week. He fills out his carseat, he's wearing 3-6 month clothes, he's got 5 chins . . . Does time just go by faster with the 2nd, or is he just that much bigger than the usual 2 month old?

I have not been very good at taking pictures of Owen. I will have to make up for it in photos displayed around the house, I don't want a severe middle-child-syndrome to take root in the little guy someday, based solely on his lack of camera time. He is such a precious baby, so sweet. It will be so much fun to watch him continue to grow . . . and grow. I guess he needs the extra mass since his life is constantly in danger from a crazy toddler tearing around the house. Graham is obsessed with Owen. O will be quietly dozing off to sleep when Graham will come up behind him and hollar "HI OooooWEn!" The little guy startles everytime and nearly jumps out of my grasp, his arms flailing wildly as though he could topple out into space. Then, his lip starts to quiver before I can settle him down and reassure him that he has escaped danger once again, and that his brother is not carrying any dangerous toys doubling as weapons . . . this time.

He has grown so much even since you were here! I love how different my two boys are - it's the most fun thing to see how God made them brothers, but so different. You are going to have such a good time with the two of them.

Oh my gosh......he is so cute!!!! I can't wait to squeeze him! The difference between him and Graham reminds me of the difference I noticed between Ben and Bo. Ben was such a tiny thing- weighing barely 6 pounds at birth and Bo came into the world at over 8 pounds and chunky as anything! He had to wear clothes from the Husky section from ages 1 - 4. :-) You'd never know it now though. He is solid muscule and boasts abs of steel.
