me&myBoys

Life with boys. Married to one, raising one, and one that is brand new. Gotta love it.

I am 30 years old, married with children. If the 20's are for finding yourself, I think it's happened just in time. Up til now I've kind of felt like a poser. But, these boys . . . Ry, G, & O . . . they've helped me become who I'm supposed to be. Being part of their lives, helping them know they are precious and loved is what I am supposed to do. Everything else is extra to that primary goal.

so much love

Graham and Owen have had so much attention, and love in the last couple of months. After each familiy member came and stayed he'd get exponentially more and more excited, and also more and more sad to see them go. Here are just a few of our helpers.

Aunt Sabrina is lovingly referred to as "B" after much prodding. Graham initially wanted to call her "this". Last time we saw her, Graham cried and cried when we had to take him away. "B back! B Back"

Deara is so comfortable for the boys. I think they almost think of her as an extension of me. It's just so natural to have her around helping with them. I am almost afraid she may try to have another baby, (you think I'm joking, . . . you wouldn't if you had a 7 year old brother) I had hoped mom would be here super close to the birth of Owen, but it was almost better that she and Sabrina came later so that I was able to have more fun with them.

Graham is in-love with Zach and Velvet, especially Zach ("sack" as Graham says) Z&V were in Seaside at the same time we were much to Graham's delight. His face absolutely lights up when he sees them, it is incredibly precious. As excited as I am to move on with life and be close to family, I can barely stand to think of how much we will all miss the Kelm's.

Judy (gigi) came to stay for a couple weeks, we worked her like a scullery maid. She was such a trooper, packing, getting up early to help with the crying baby, cooking. wow, what a gift. Graham learned quickly that gigi would generally do her best to make him happy, and if I had to discipline him, he would hollar out "my gigi, my gigi" in otherwords, "save me, oh kind one with the many treats and gifts. Bob (bapa) came later and drove to Seaside with us. Graham was super pumped to have him come and would hollar at the top of his lung "yaaaayy Bapa." Having Grandparents along on a vacation definitely has it's perks, I now think it's the only way to travel. Bob and judy would babysit for us while we layed on the beach. Bob would carry Owen around in the baby bjorn to alleviate the crying while Judy chased a crazy 2 year old. We couldn't have done a trip like this with a tiny baby without them, or atleast we couldn't have enjoyed it nearly as much.

We are so blessed by these people and all the others not pictured but who gave a helping hand, or word of advice, or sent a gift. I am overwhelmed with gratitude. Thank you.
