me&myBoys

Life with boys. Married to one, raising one, and one that is brand new. Gotta love it.

I am 30 years old, married with children. If the 20's are for finding yourself, I think it's happened just in time. Up til now I've kind of felt like a poser. But, these boys . . . Ry, G, & O . . . they've helped me become who I'm supposed to be. Being part of their lives, helping them know they are precious and loved is what I am supposed to do. Everything else is extra to that primary goal.

wahoo

I'm so excited. Not because I'm stranded at the Mpls airport with 2 small children and a blizzardish forecast. Or that my day started at 3 AM this morning with airline headache. Or that I'm in public with no make-up . . . but because I made the plunge and bought myself a brand new Mac laptop. I think my cool-factor has just made a giant leap!

It was fabulous to be in Nashville. The first day we arrived it was around 60 degrees, Ryan dropped the boys and I off at the Dragon Park, and we played outside without 15 layers of gortex and fleece! I was nearly giddy, it was so lovely to be in Nashivlle, I had forgotten how beautiful the city is, and how much I had missed it. Our last few weeks (er, actually months) have been so busy, I don't think I had really reflected on all that had happened, or taken the time to grieve (for lack of a better word) Nashville. Later that night, we ate with our friends the West's, our pals Zach and Velvet and met their brand-new gorgeous child, Quinn. Over the weekend we shopped, checked out the familiar sites, toured homes, had our photos taken by the talented and delightful Molnar photography team.

A good time was had by all. Now if we can just get home before my good nature wears off with the aiport marathon.

Hopefully little O didn't have any problem with his ears on the flight or the whole trip. So glad you found some warm weather to enjoy.

Are you still stranded?

Boy, we could probably share airline horror stories. I had a doozy of an experience during Christmas.
