me&myBoys

Life with boys. Married to one, raising one, and one that is brand new. Gotta love it.

I am 30 years old, married with children. If the 20's are for finding yourself, I think it's happened just in time. Up til now I've kind of felt like a poser. But, these boys . . . Ry, G, & O . . . they've helped me become who I'm supposed to be. Being part of their lives, helping them know they are precious and loved is what I am supposed to do. Everything else is extra to that primary goal.

ummmm. . . one more thing

OK, so when mom called me wondering if everything was alright, I knew I should expound just enough to say, everything is good. I'm feeling fine, etc.

It has more to do with time management, and seeking God.

I also wanted to say that when I mentioned that talking about it gets ooey gooey, I just meant that any time I try to write about that stuff, I feel preachy and gaggy. But, honestly, I love reading other's posts on spiritual things, just not my own. Hope I wasn't offensive.

A Tough Post

So, I don't know why, but I know that I need to take a break. I'm re-evaluating, editing, and attempting to search and grow. I know that for many people, this upcoming journey need not include the break from blogging, it would probably include blogging. However, for me, I am somewhat certain that you may not hear from me for awhile.

It's all good. I am going to wake up from sleepwalking, and now's the time.

If I get so inclined, I may share, however, it has never been my nature to go there, I usually think it's too ooey-gooey, and sometimes nauseating. So, even though, I may surprise myself and write it all out there, it may not happen. I am fairly sure, that you'll hear from me, in the comment section of your own blogs, though.

This is really hard for me, because I have enjoyed getting to know you all, and I've appreciated your comments and interaction. I think we should have a get-together, for those of us within driving distance. I think that would be a blast, (but maybe we'd all need to bring our laptops and type out the conversation!) Maybe we can do it at my house once it's rid of plaster dust, not that I don't love being able to make snow angels in construction mess . . .

For now- adios.

Family photos

Here are a few shots from our afore mentioned photo shoot. (check out davidmolnar.com, he's the fabulous photographer) We had actually taken some shots with our friend Rosana previous to this shoot, and alot of them turned out great. One problem, however, she used my camera and I had the idea to shoot in RAW mode, because I heard the enlargement possiblities are so much better. . . BUT I have yet to figure out how to make them work using Photoshop 7. If anyone knows, please share. Until then, they are held prisoner by my computer.

I had to include just a few of the "real" moments captured this family photoshoot. Isn't this a little more like real-life? This one probably won't make our wall, but isn't it hilarious?! I can't decide, part of me wants to blow it up huge, but is that mean to Owen?

Owen cracks me up

Ahhhhh, baby kisses
